When Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition for PC launched, players who owned one edition received the other one for free. But what if you bought both editions a long time ago? What do you get then?
To show our gratitude towards players who already had both editions before we announced we’d start selling them together, we’re going to give you the new Vanilla cape! So if you bought both Java and Bedrock Edition before June 6, 2022, you will be receiving this special cape shortly, and you’ll be able to wear it in both editions. Like previous capes, it should show up in your Dressing Room or the Skin Customization menu automatically.
But this post would be pretty dull without a sneak peek, so here you go:
We’re very grateful for your support throughout the years, and we hope that you’ll have fun zooming around your worlds with this new cape. Happy mining!
