Q&A
Q: How to enable the manual level-up function?
A: Set "manualLevelUp" to "true" in the configuration file and then reload the configuration.
Q: How to modify the experience required for level-up?
A: Adjust the baseExpToLevelUp and expIncreaseRate parameters in the configuration file.
Q: Will the data be saved automatically?
A: Yes, the data will be saved automatically at the configured intervals, with a default of 5 minutes.
Q: How to back up player data?
A: Player data is stored in plugins/GwLevelPlus/data/players.json. You can regularly copy this file for backup. The system will also automatically back up before resetting all player data.
Q: How can the difficulty of level-up be adjusted?
A: You can adjust the level-up difficulty by modifying baseExpToLevelUp (base experience points) and expIncreaseRate (growth rate). The higher the rate, the faster the required experience points increase for higher levels.
Upgrade calculation formula
Experience points required for each level calculation formula:
Required experience = Basic experience value × (Growth rate ^ (Level - 1))
For example:
By default, 100 experience points are required to level up from level 1 to level 2. To level up from level 2 to level 3, 100 × 1.5 = 150 experience points are needed. To level up from level 3 to level 4, 100 × 1.5² = 225 experience points are required.
